Craig Armistead, President

Thirty years of performing construction services have honed Craig Armistead’s instincts and appreciation for close client relationships. His focus day in and day out is to produce the kind of customer satisfaction that turns first-time buyers into long-term clients.

A skilled union carpenter since the late 1980s, Craig knows construction and general contracting from the ground up. Starting as an apprentice carpenter, he progressed through the trade, working as a journeyman for six years and then as a foreman for a Chicagoland carpentry contractor. Later, for seven-plus years, he was a project manager and partner for a Chicagoland general contractor before establishing Contractor Construction Group (2CG) in 2014.

Sharon McDonough, Office Manager

Completing projects on time and within budget is central to 2CG's growing reputation for high performance. With more than 10 years of experience running office operations for Chicagoland general contractors and builders, Sharon McDonough works side by side with Craig Armistead to keep every 2CG project running smoothly and cost-effectively.

Sharon started in the construction industry in 1990, so she draws on a deep base of experience in managing the 2CG business office. In addition to providing Craig with general support and assistance with key decisions, Sharon handles a multitude of daily interactions with clients, vendors and partners and is responsible for A/P, A/R, payroll and collections.
